ONCE IN A LIFETIME SHOW
A great opening band, a crazy awesome word poet/rapper, two OLP encores, and a caught drumstick! What an amazing way to spend a Sunday night in Boston! I didn't even mind my hoarse voice the next morning at work.
This show was spectacular! I have been an OLP fan since the 90s and this was my first OLP show. Having seen them now, I regret that fact that I was not able to go to any shows before 7/29. Raine and the gang put on an unforgettable show and I was left breathless. Great song choices, the crowd was on point and the venue was PERFECT!
Our Lady Peace Really Brought Their Best
SMSHNG HRTS really surprised me. I hadn't heard of them before this show, and checked them out on Spotify prior to attending. They had far more energy than the music on Spotify might have indicated and did a great job during their performance of getting the crowd ready for OLP. They performed a cover of Deftones, which was really gutsy, and did a great job. Our Lady Peace really outdid themselves. Their setlist was extensive and impressive, going all the way back to Naveed. Raine was absolutely on point with his vocals, Steve shredded the guitar, Duncan was tremendous, and Jason was a beast on the drums. Their energy was fantastic and they involved the crowd quite a bit, encouraging some sing alongs. I would absolutely encourage anybody even a little bit curious about Our Lady Peace to attend one of their live shows. They are phenomenal.
